This 6-week group is for those who have experienced the death of a loved one from overdose or long term substance abuse. The loss may have occurred recently or several years ago. In addition to the more universal symptoms of grief, those surviving an overdose loss have unique challenges. Looking for a rewarding opportunity to give back and help others? Consider being a hospice volunteer! We are especially looking volunteers who want to volunteer in Hampshire and Morgan County as: * volunteer hairdressers (must be licensed) * seamstresses who can make memory bears for patients' families and busy boards for Alzheimer's and dementia patients* companion volunteers to make friendly visits with patients and to sit with patients and give caregivers a break * veteran volunteers to provide veteran-to-veteran visits…Find out more »
