Gone Too Soon

December 1 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 5:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until December 22, 2022

Losing a loved one to substance abuse is a grief unlike any other. In addition to the more universal symptoms of grief, those surviving an overdose loss have unique challenges. This safe, judgment-free group will allow you to share your story, connect with others, explore your feelings, develop coping strategies and discover new ways to remember your loved one.
The death can be from opioids, alcohol or any drug. It could have been accidental, overdose or from long-term use. The loss could have been recent or many years ago.
Dinner will be provided for participants.
During this pandemic, we are working to create a safe, healthy space for all, so there may be precautions and safety measures in place. Upon registering for a group, you will be notified of any such precautions. Because of the nature of the pandemic, these practices can change at any time and with no notice. Thank you for your understanding.
