Includes topic specific newsletters, online discussion lists, back issue articles of Today's Caregiver Magazine, chat rooms and an online store which is currently in development. Currently featuring information to help caregivers survive the holidays.

The National Family Caregivers Association
Represents the more than 25 million family caregivers in this country. NFCA's mission is to improve the overall quality of life of America's family caregivers. NFCA provides information and education, support and validation, public awareness and advocacy. Their web site has links to other organizations and web sites for help finding: respite care, adult day services, prescription discounts, caregiver training, elder care, etc.

Caring Connections
This is a program of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) to engage everyone in improving end of life care.

Caregivers' Resources (USA.gov)
This site provides assistance walking through finding a nursing home, assisted living or hospice; checking eligibility for benefits; resources for long-distance care giving; reviewing legal issues and finding support for care givers.

National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization
NHPCO is the largest nonprofit membership organization representing hospice and palliative care programs and professionals in the U.S. This site will help you find a hospice in your area and more information about hospice and palliative care.

Hospice Council of West Virginia
The Hospice Council of West Virginia exists solely to promote the hospice care concept in the state of West Virginia.

Hospice & Palliative Nurses Association
HPNA promotes excellence in end-of-life nursing. This site provides convenient access to current information in the areas of hospice and palliative nursing.

Dying Well
Resources and referrals to organizations, sites and books to empower terminally ill and families to live as fully as possible during the dying process. Website grew out of the work of Dr. Ira Byock, author of Dying Well.

This site is sponsored by the Center to Advance Palliative Care and offers tools, resources and information on obtaining palliative care for you or your loved one and other issues related to the pain, symptoms and stress of serious illness.
