About Hospice

Hospice of the Panhandle provides care and support for people
who are living with progressive, life-limiting illness.

Hospice care is characterized by:

• The belief that when disease symptoms are well managed, a person can enjoy living during the end of life.
• Care and support to the patient and his or her caregiver in the patient's residence.
• Holistic care that uses a team to address the patient's medical, emotional, spiritual and practical needs.
